SENTAI Launches First Public Engagement Event at FINKI Skopje

We are proud to announce the successful launch of the first public engagement event of the SENTAI Project at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FINKI) in Skopje. This event marks an important milestone in our journey to foster collaboration, awareness, and innovation at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

The event opened with a welcome address and presentation by prof. Anastas Mishev, who introduced the SENTAI Project and its mission, supported by the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme. His talk outlined the project’s vision to explore and strengthen the synergies between AI technologies and cybersecurity frameworks.

A highlight of the event was the keynote presentation by renowned cybersecurity expert Dr. Tanja Pavleska from the Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana. Her lecture, titled “Ctrl+Halt+AI: Who Will Click Save When the Alarms Stop?”, captivated the audience with its insights into the pressing challenges and ethical questions surrounding the integration of AI in cybersecurity systems.

The session concluded with an engaging discussion, where students and faculty shared their thoughts, reflections, and critical questions—proving once again the importance of fostering dialogue in this fast-evolving field.
