Successful Master’s Thesis Defense within the SENTAI Project

On 1 September 2026, Evgenija Krajchevska, a researcher at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and one of the SENTAI Project stipend recipients, successfully defended her master’s thesis titled “Design of Real-Time Data Pipelines for Intrusion Detection Systems.”

The research was conducted as part of her work within the SENTAI Project and focused on the design, implementation, and evaluation of a modular cloud-native pipeline for real-time intrusion detection. The developed solution integrates streaming data processing and machine learning components in a Kubernetes-based environment, with particular emphasis on scalability, real-time processing, and system performance.

The work contributes to the SENTAI Project activities aimed at developing an AI-enabled Intrusion Detection System (IDS), while also demonstrating the important role of young researchers in advancing the project’s research and technical objectives.
